Well it's definately on my list of things to do in the near future. *feline643 is slowly but surely teaching me (thankfully I already had familiarity with the alphabet and some of the language) so hopefully I'll pick it up quickly. I've always had a fascination with Greek history and mythology so how could I resist? I figure once she and I move in together, I'll be getting more and more Greek lessons to speed things up.

I dunno if Teri would want to move back there but for now it's definately on our getaway list. Besides, her mom wants us to visit as well. The only part that drives me nuts at the moment is Greenglish/Greeklish. I know the Greek alphabet and am learning the combinations for different sound, but when it comes to Greenglish, it sorta drives me insane not knowing the character substitution rules. Although 'euxaristw' (and some of it's variant spellings that I have seen on dA) is now firmly entrenched in my brain along with other words and phrases. I am learning it but it's more of a memorization of combinations than anything else. I need proper Greek first, THEN I should be able to tackle the rest (although it seems it's happening in reverse at the moment).

heh.. greeklish i find "hard" to read myself too sometimes !!
just learn the language well first + then greeklish won't bother you..
